Oslo Group on Energy Statistics

The Oslo Group on Energy Statistics is a city group created by the UN Statistical Commission to address methodological issues related to energy statistics and contribute to improved international standards and improved methods for official energy statistics.

Focus in 2012

The main activity for the Oslo Group in 2012 will be the collection of country practices and the preparation and drafting of chapters for the Energy Statistics Compilers Manual (ESCM).

 

Seventh Oslo Group meeting in Finland, 23-26 October 2012

The 7th Oslo Group Meeting will take place in Helsinki, Finland 23rd-26th October 2012. The meeting is dedicated to discussing draft chapters for the ESCM (Energy Statistics Compilers Manual).

Sixth Oslo Group meeting in Australia, 2-5 May 2011

The 6th meeting of the Oslo Group wil take place in Canberra, Australia from May 2nd- May 5th 2011. The Meeting will focus on the preparation of ESCM (Energy Statistics Compilers Manual).

Fifth Oslo Group meeting in Cork, Ireland, 1-4 February 2010

Draft version 0 of IRES was presented to the Oslo Group during its fifth meeting in Cork, Ireland February 2010. The draft was discussed and the next version, version 1, will be made available to OG for review by mid June 2010.
